Hi Jon - I'm writing to you from Wrightwood today while watching a movie with Grandpa, Lynne, Maddy, and Heber and not really paying any attention to the movie. Normally I'd write you tomorrow but we're planning to be at Venice Beach all day and I won't have time or opportunity to do it.  A lot has happened this week so I'll tell you about a few highlights. As soon as Aimar's parents left I turned my attention to finally putting our West Jordan and Vintage homes on the market officially. I worked in the yard and took some pictures out there. Now that the grass looks really green and the trees are blooming it looks pretty nice out there. I purchased yard signs a while back and put them up on Wednesday. Immediately mom and I started getting calls from ward members asking what our plans are and where are we moving. I didn't expect that part. Seriously people keep calling and I wish they would stop. I wasn't in Provo for church today but I imagine it was...

Hi Jon - We had a great Easter. I hope your was great as well. Maddy spoke in Sacrament Meeting and all the talks were super good. We had dinner at Gaynell's house with Brittany and all their kids, Ashleigh and Nate, and Alicia and Travis. I don't know if you heard but something really weird happened with Travis DeMille. He was mowing his lawn in American Fork and he had a seizure probably caused by dehydration. The seizure was so strong he fell down unconscious and his back muscles contracted enough to dislocate both shoulders! He spent a couple days in the hospital and it's going to take a few weeks to recover. I thought that was so strange and scary! Alicia and Travis sold their AF house though so that is a blessing. Last week I worked a lot of hours on the van/RV conversion. It's still not done yet but I'm getting closer. Aimar flew out to see is family in San Francisco and then drove to Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, and then Provo. They arrived on Tuesday and we ...

Hi Jon - I hope your week went well and that your investigators came to church yesterday! We're praying that all of your investigators progress well. I can give you some updates about what's going on at home. Chance went on a date Saturday night with some girl - I can't remember her name just now - and they did Bob Ross paintings or something like that. Apparently it went well enough that Chance is going to ask her to Junior Prom today. Chance blessed the sacrament yesterday which was really cool. Javier is Javier. He wanted to show us (Maddy, Heber, and me) all of your coolest worlds in Minecraft yesterday so even though it's not really our thing we went downstairs and Javi said that you had actually built most of them. They were very elaborate and seemed like a huge waste of time. Just kidding! They were very cool and we all thought of you. This is the last week of class for Maddy and Heber and then finals week starts. They are thinking of driving to Californi...

Hi Jon - I'm happy that you have a new companion. Try not to be too bad an example for him! hahaha I know you'll do a great job and be a great example. Work hard, have fun, keep the rules. Be the kind of missionary your mom thinks you are. I've been working in the yard a lot, ripping out ground cover and weeks and putting in bark. The idea is to have less maintenance to do and fewer weeds. Last week was Spring Break and we didn't do a big trip this year like to California or go on a cruise or anything. The boys just wanted to stay in Provo. But I did make them do a 2 day trip to get out and do some hiking. We hiked Angels Landing in Zions National Park and then Peekaboo Gulch in Escalante. Both hikes were fun but I really like Peekaboo the most. General Conference was really good. I watched all 5 sessions and liked quite a few talks. Some talks didn't speak to me as much because I think they were focused more on non-members and inactive members but that's ...
