Hi Jon -
I’m in Yosemite today and have no network connection most of the time so hopefully this will get sent out.
Mom and I had a great time backpacking for 4 nights to May Lake and Glen Aulin. Mom twisted her ankle so we stopped after 18 miles instead of going 17 miles more over Clouds Rest to Yosemite Valley. Now we are camping at Lower Pines with Chris, Nate, Skyler, and Javi.
I swam at swinging bride on Saturday and we rafted to Stonemans bridge after church yesterday. August in Yosemite is always hot so being in the river seems more appealing than hiking sometimes.
We rode bicycles to Happy Isles and I’m sitting in a bench writing you this.
I hope things are going well for you now. I hope the heat isn’t too hard on you. And I hope your investigators are progressing well. We won’t be able to talk today and next week I’ll be off the grid rafting the middle fork of the River of no return so let’s chat on the 19th.
